25th May was designated Afrika Liberation Day (ALD) by the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) in 1963. Today the African Union (AU) celebrates it as Africa Day. It has become a focol point for the Afrikan Diaspora. In keeping with our ethos, we chose this day for symbolic purposes!
